Any eating establishments close?

:) We are staying at the Holiday Inn Express Vancouver (on Hastings) before and after our cruise. They offer a continental breakfast, however we were wondering if there are any other restaurants in the immediate area.

 

If not, no biggie because our hotel shuttle provides free transporation to the downtown Vancouver area and we could always go that route to find something!

There are no restaurants in Vancouver. Everyone has to starve! (Sorry, just so tempting!)

I know the hotel and the neighbourhood but no restaurants really leap to mind. The neighbourhood as become a very mixed Asian area so there will be some good Chinese and Vietnamese restaurants particularly as you move a block or two west on Hastings. None of them will be large, mainly ma's & pa's. I could take you to a good Chinese restaurant but you don't want that.;) Try the front desk for a recomendation.
