Jan2007 Posted August 6, 2008 #1 Share Posted August 6, 2008 We'll be cruising with our 13 month old and Grand Cayman is one of our ports of call. Any tips on what would be the best options of what to do ashore? What are some recommendations from those who have young ones?
gkrnjlr Posted August 10, 2008 #2 Share Posted August 10, 2008 We will be going to Grand Cayman next month on our cruise and we'll be taking our 9 month old. So far we've booked Carnival's "Best of Cayman" tour. Children 3 and under are free if they sit on a parent's lap and it's in an air conditioned motorcoach. What type of activities are you looking to do?
Jan2007 Posted August 12, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted August 12, 2008 Just the beach and something flexible/close by with a baby. An all inclusive day pass will be great!
gkrnjlr Posted August 12, 2008 #4 Share Posted August 12, 2008 Since you have a little one....Try posting on the Family Cruising board. I've gotten a tremendous amount of help from them there for traveling with our kids.
jean-lynd Posted August 12, 2008 #5 Share Posted August 12, 2008 There are not a lot of places in the Cayman's that are all-inclusive. If you are just wanting to relax on the beach you could catch a taxi $4/person to the Royal Palms/Reef Grill. They have chairs and umbrellas to rent, food and drink, and free showers, restrooms and changing area. I hope this helps! Enjoy!
