jbanana1 Posted August 7, 2008 #1 Share Posted August 7, 2008 Anyone know where and directions to parking at the Mobile terminal?
Tater1800 Posted August 7, 2008 #2 Share Posted August 7, 2008 From I-10, either direction, take exit 26b. You can see the boat and parking deck from the Interstate.

Jabee Posted August 7, 2008 #5 Share Posted August 7, 2008 The parking garage in Mobile is NOT large enough for a Fantasy size ship. It is barely large enough for the Holiday. I am sure they will find a few parking spaces in the garage, but most will stay in the "auxilliary" parking lot under the I-10 bridge. This is some very strange news that people will have to drive to Mobile.
jbanana1 Posted August 7, 2008 Author #6 Share Posted August 7, 2008 Tater1800, you said to take exit 26b, the Carnival's website directions say 26a, so do you know is 26b better than 26a?

yst347 Posted August 7, 2008 #9 Share Posted August 7, 2008 Last February it was free to park under I-10. Reports on the safety of this lot vary. The lot itself is paved and an easy walk to the terminal. This picture was taken from onboard the Holiday. The parking deck is part of the terminal. It has three levels including the roof. We arrived at noon and parked on the middle level. These pictures were also taken from onboard the Holiday.

cruise_pirate Posted August 7, 2008 #11 Share Posted August 7, 2008 We live pretty close to mobile and have gone to watch her sail away and parked under the bridge. It does not look to be very safe at all:eek:.
Tater1800 Posted August 8, 2008 #12 Share Posted August 8, 2008 Tater1800, you said to take exit 26b, the Carnival's website directions say 26a, so do you know is 26b better than 26a? Oops! I misread my mapping software. Take I-10W to exit 25a then cross over and exit on 26a. Take I-10E to exit 26a. If you use a GPS I can post the coordinates.
