Does the Mariner "dock" in St. Thomas or are you moved by tender to the pier?

Want to do the Atlantis sub on our own to open up more of the day for other things. Where is the Atlantis sub in relation to where the pier is? Thanks!!

I was actually wondering the same thing. I will be on the Adventure of the Seas in a couple of weeks. I know she docks in Charlotte Amalie, but I was wondering if anyone knew which dock? If my memory serves me correctly, there a couple of different locations. Thanks for any help!

Hello -

My son (age 8) and I did the Atlantis sub in St Thomas on our 9/24/04 Voyager cruise. It was fantastic!

The sub is located off an island with associated coral reef close to St Thomas. We booked it as an excursion from RCCL. There was a bus from the Voyager which went down the pier at St Thomas to a smaller dock where a nice boat owned by Atlantis came to pick us up. They had free punch and free punch with rum on the boat. It was about a 15min ride to the island where the sub is located.

The sub went under for about 45 mins, cruised around the reef varying in depth from 40 to 100 feet. It was a very special trip! We saw rays, 2 sharks, 2 sea turtles, lots of different corals, lots of different fish and even a ship wreck. The sub is very new and very safe. A tender boat is above the sub as it travels under water. At the end, after we got off the sub and were back on the boat taking us back to St Thomas, the capt'n stopped and we watched the next group get on the sub and go under. Very neat!
