Vista suite location

We are exclusively Celebrity cruisers but we would like to try Oceania. We are interested in a vista suite and notice that they are on deck seven and six. The ones on deck six are over a stage/dance floor and we would like to know if this is a noisy stateroom. We really enjoy quiet cabins day and night.Thank you.

If you like quiet cabins, Vista is not for you unless you are early risers or have no ports where you anchor..the anchors are in the front of the ship..I suggest for the few extra dollars you get the owners suite on deck 7..they are very quiet..

Jan--aren't the owners suites in the back of the ship? If so, will we feel the engine vibrations as we have on other ships (Celebrity)? Thank you for your reply.

We were in the owner's suites for our cruise and our friends were in the Vista. There is an extreme difference in the vibration and noise level when docking between these two cabins. The cabins are both lovely, the owner's suite is a little larger and alot quieter. Next summer we will be in a Vista Suite -even though we are aware of the noise and the shaking...it only lasts a short time. The difference in price after seeing both cabins convinced us to go with the Vista Suite for our next cruise.

If you take the owners suites on deck 7 or 8 there is very little vibration..I stayed in the OS on deck 6 and found it very noisy..(My favorite is 7114)
