Oceanwench Posted August 16, 2008 #2 Share Posted August 16, 2008 We've only stayed in VAs on the Westerdam, but I can answer any questions you might have. You can call HAL and talk to the access and compliance staff. They have representative pix of pretty much every type of accessible cabin on their ships, which they will e-mail to you. Fblack Posted August 16, 2008 #3 Share Posted August 16, 2008 I have attached a photo of cabin 5140. I declined to take it after seeing it. Unlike some other cruise ships, most handicap cabins on HAL ships are really just standard cabins slightly modified. Cabin 5140 has no sofa or love seat. Just a chair. It is no wider than a standard cabin. I don't think a wheelchair can go past the bed. Contrast it to a photo of a handicap cabin on RCCL's Radiance.
