DreadPirateRobert Posted August 21, 2008 #4 Share Posted August 21, 2008 They are plastic flasks that can be used to store your favorite beverage. For some unknown reason it was important to the designers that they be invisible to x-ray. I have no idea why.;) ;) The tops seal so well that nothing leaks out even under pressure. I've used them and they work great.
scovarrubias22 Posted August 21, 2008 Author #5 Share Posted August 21, 2008 So I went to the website and saw how they work, but how would you bring them on board?
ManyMore Posted August 21, 2008 #6 Share Posted August 21, 2008 Just to anyone ready to order some.... the 8oz and 16oz seem like they would be a lot but they are kind of small so you might want 16 at a minimum or maybe.... I just need to drink less lol!!!!! They shipped VERY quickly I must say.
Howards_girl Posted August 21, 2008 #7 Share Posted August 21, 2008 Check out this thread. The young girl did a review of the Glory (which is an excellent review I might add) and she had pictures of her rum runner flasks and how to use them and pack them... :) http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=825429&page=

Howards_girl Posted August 22, 2008 #9 Share Posted August 22, 2008 It's been awhile since you have flown huh? The airlines will not allow you to take this much liquid of any kind, on the plane as a carry on... It would make it really heavy anyway.. Fill them up before you get on the boat... :)

If you put them in your carry on luggage they can see the shape of the fluid. Fill them, put them in your checked luggage and you should not have any problems. You can take them off at the port of calls, fill them put the small ones in your pocket and walk back on the ship with them. You can carry them in sporting events and metal detectors can not detect them. Have a great cruise.
