SayingIDo Posted August 21, 2008 #1 Share Posted August 21, 2008 I have seen threads on them, but what are they?
terri910 Posted August 21, 2008 #2 Share Posted August 21, 2008 A 45-day letter is a letter you MIGHT receive from Carnival after writing to them about a recent Carnival cruise experience (good or bad). It thanks you for your letter/comments and offers a bon voyage gift of some sort, if you contact their Guest Relations Dept. within 45 days of your next cruise. I believe the offer expires after 18 months from the date of the letter, or something. I recently called on ours (our next cruise is in 34 days -- woo hoo!) and was asked for a 1st and 2nd choice among several different things. We chose 4 bar coupons as our 1st choice, and a bottle of white wine as our 2nd choice.
SayingIDo Posted August 21, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted August 21, 2008 Well crap. I just went on a cruise (my 1st) in September. If I had only known. I will certainly remember to do that this time round.
