Flexible Dining ? Carnival Liberty

I thought there was a post awhile back that Carnival was extending the flexible dining to the Carnival Liberty beginning November 1st. Talked with TA today and said that option was not available for the November 8th sailing.

 

Has anybody signed up for flexible dining onboard the Liberty for the November 8th cruise or anytime in November?

I think your travel agent is uninformed and needs to call Carnival. A carnival PVP told me that those who wanted flex dining should be listed as "U" for undecided on dining time.

 

If it is important to you, call your TA, share the link with them, and request that they contact Carnival to confirm the process for selecting flexible dining. Otherwise, I would think you can change to flex when you board.

Thanks for the information. If I can change when I am onboard, that will be fine. If the tablemates are good, then I may keep the assigned dining. If the table is bad, then the option of switching to flexible dining would be a good option. Haven't had good luck with table lately.

Yes, call your travel agent so she can call Carnival to change you to open dining. There will be a long wait you will have to carry a buzzer and whenever your table gets ready they will buzz you HTH

Had to change our dining time today because Carnival had us dining at 5:45 and we wanted either the later time or the free-style for 11/08 sailing on Liberty. We got the 8:00 but the free-style was not mentioned to my TA. Guess we can change when we get on the ship but since we are going with 4 other family members we may just stay with the 8:00 What ever, I know we'll have good food and a great time.:cool:
