THANKS to everyone - Wonder 8-10-08

We recently got back from a family reunion about the Disney Wonder. The most important thing to us was making sure Mom and Dad had a good time - they brought us all on the trip (3 days in WDW, 4 on the cruise) to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.

 

Thanks to this board, and to this thread, http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=711116, in particular, we were able to have a custom-made basket with Mom's favorite flowers waiting in Mom and Dad's stateroom when they boarded the ship! That was a big hit.

 

Thanks to this board, we packed pirate-y shirts for Pirate Night and very nice dressy things for Dress-Up Night! Mom and Dad were pleased with that, too.

 

Thanks to this board, we were able have a good idea ahead of time which shore excursions in Nassau we would really enjoy. Hubby and I went to the Ardastra Gardens and the City Tour afterwards, while our son (age 22) did the snorkeling-with-stingrays.

 

I really appreciate the way y'all share information and insights and ideas with such generosity. It really helped make this a great trip!
