Quebec bike ride

Recommended Posts

We just returned from HAL New England/Canada cruise. It was beautiful of course and we enjoyed all of our stops. However, Quebec was awesome (we'd never been there before). We rented bikes and I wanted to share our experience with Cyclo Bike Shop in Quebec. We wanted to rent bikes to ride to Monmorency Falls and also around Quebec. The people at Cyclo Services were wonderfully friendly and helpful. Their shop is only about a 10 minute walk from the cruise dock on 289 Rue Saint Paul. The information booth at the dock was helpful in giving us directions, but I had googled it too and could have found it just fine without the info from the women at the booth. (By the way, the women at the information booth were also very helpful with other information). I was going to reserve bikes in advance, but then didn't get around to it, but they had plenty of bikes.Biking is a great way to see Quebec, although the old city is very walkable and easy to get around. The website for the bike shop is www.cycloservices.net
