jadygaby Posted August 24, 2008 #1 Share Posted August 24, 2008 In the interior staterooms, the ones that show 2 dots mean 2 upper beds, what does that mean? Click this link if you don't get what I mean: http://www.carnival.com/Deck_Plan.aspx?shipCode=GL
Ken076 Posted August 24, 2008 #2 Share Posted August 24, 2008 Two twin beds and two fold-down upper bunk beds, one on left wall and one on right wall. Usually the twins are against the wall right underneath the wall upper bunks, not sure if the twins can be moved/joined to make a king (like the other staterooms) or not. 3boysvus Posted August 24, 2008 #3 Share Posted August 24, 2008 As Ken said 2 twins beds and two pull downs (they kinda remind me of the ones on a train- do they have those anymore?) And usually they can make the two lowers into a king - it just make is tougher to work the ladder - I think there's a pic of the configuration on here somewhere - hopefully some one smarter than me an find it and post it for you. jadygaby Posted August 24, 2008 Author #4 Share Posted August 24, 2008 Thanks for your replies. Was not sure, I called in and indeed it is 2 twin beds that can convert into king and 2 wall beds (like bunk beds). My question now is, I reserved this room not realizing that. We're just 2, we don't need those 2 other wall beds. Will those wall beds be in the way, as in something stuck on the wall? (I asked the rep, but she was unclear) If so is there an additional charge to switch rooms?
blackrose602 Posted August 24, 2008 #5 Share Posted August 24, 2008 The beds fold up against the wall, so they don't stick out a bit. If you're worried about the aesthetics though, you could always call and ask to be reassigned. There shouldn't be a charge as long as there are still cabins available of the same category.
