sapper1 Posted August 25, 2008 #2 Share Posted August 25, 2008 We will be on the Dawn this week. What will the weather be like in St John and Halifax? Thank you The weather has been quite nice here this week--in the seventies and sunny---cooler in the early AM and the evenings. If it is foggy along the coast in the morning it will be cool--in the sixties, but that usually burns off around noon and it warms up. It can be foggy uptown and be sunny in my backyard which is two miles inland. If it is rainy it will be in the mid sixties. The best thing you can do anytime in the Maritime Provinces during summer is to layer your clothing so you can peel off when it warms up as you can be quite uncomfortable when the fog burns off if you are all bundled up with heavy shirts, pants etc. Most people will still be wandering around in shorts and short sleeves for a few weeks yet. Bear in mind that when you are at sea in this area it will be cold. It is that way even in mid summer when it is very warm on land.
