cbpanda Posted August 25, 2008 #1 Share Posted August 25, 2008 I have a friend who is traveling on the Mariner of the Seas in October to the Eastern Caribbean. Since she has never been on RC and, indeed, never on a cruise before, I was trying to search the forum for copies of the Cruise Compass (the dailys) so I could give her some idea what to expect for daily activities on the ship. :) Unfortunately, the search function is not working. (shocking, I know) So my question is this -- does anyone have posted copies of the daily newsletters from the eastern caribbean cruise and can possibly provide a link? Thanks very much for your help!

cbpanda Posted August 26, 2008 Author #5 Share Posted August 26, 2008 Can someone explain what cruise compass is for a newbie? If you are booked on a cruise how do you access it? The Compass is the name of Royal Caribbean's daily activities newsletter. If you are booked on a cruise, you will receive one in your room each day. It lists all of the activities that will take place on the ship, as well as, important information regarding the port stops you make. I only wanted copies of past ones so that I could show a friend of mine (another newbie like yourself) exactly what kind of activities she could expect on her cruise. Hope that answers your question. richandkathynaplesfl Posted August 26, 2008 #6 Share Posted August 26, 2008 Hi Gold, The cruise compass is the daily activity sheet that the ship distributes each morning. It's usually about 4 pages with all activities for that day including drink and onboard shopping specials. There is no online access to the compass, just sites that previous cruisers have posted the ones from their trip. RandK
