Just booked Destiny for January on a 5 night Eastern cruise. Any feedback or recommendations regarding the ship? Also how many formal nights are on this cruise and which night is it on? Does anyone have the Capers they can post?

destiny still in puerto rico this sunday 31 aug 08 its the last salling from san juan,

 

then moved to florida..first salling from miami will be 21sep2008..afer so

 

many years in san juan.. and so many wonderful sallings...Good bye Destiny....welcome Victory

I'm booked on the same cruise for dec. 08 and there's 1 formal nt. and i've read it's on the 2nd nt. when you're in nassau.

Which date did you book? We booked a B2B Jan 26 & Jan 31....our 1st time on this class ship. It's going in for refurbishing in Sept so we'll have it nice when we get on :D

We are booked on Destiny May 4, first time with Carnival, looking foward to this great itinerary!:D

I sailed the Destiny last year, but out of Puerto Rico and went to the Southern Caribbean. I also went on her in 97 and sailed the Western - both 7 days. She was brand new during my first trip - and one of the first boats with mostly balconies.

This last time I thought she needed a makeover, but your lucky b/c she is set for drydock pretty soon.

Honestly, all the boats are very similar to me and if you like Carnival then you will love the Destiny.
