Land tours in Rome

Recommended Posts

I am planning my first European cruise. Trying to decide between Rome and Barcelona starting point? How far is Rome from the port? Do the land tours include vatican, etc.? Is there as much to see and do in Barcelona as Rome? Thanks for helping.

The Rome port is an hour or so away. Of course there are tours which include the Vatican -- unless you happen to be there when the museum is closed (Sundays and a few other special days).

Barcelona has much to see and do. Not as much as Rome, but a wonderful city.
