kfgarrow Posted October 25, 2004 #3 Share Posted October 25, 2004 Just keep reading these boards and soaking in as much information as possible. For many of us, planning for--and dreaming about--our cruises is nearly as much fun as the cruise itself. We have sailed out of Port Canaveral three times--it is a great port to navigate and sail from. Go into the cruise with an open mind, a relaxed attitude and all the information you can gather to make informed decisions about how you want to spend your time. When you get on the ship, drop off your bags, grab a bite to eat and then spend a couple of hours exploring the ship from top deck to bottom. Make your restaurant and/or spa reservations right as you pass by to get primo time slots. You will be amazed at how fast the week will fly by and if you don't explore on the first day, there may be many parts of the ship you never see. Have a great first cruise.
