Reschedualing and OBC

If we were to reschedule our Solstice cruise to another week, or cancel all together, would we lose the OBC that we are receiving for booking on the ship?

I asked the sales manager when I was on board Infinity last week. As long as you transfer it to another comparable cruise you would keep the obc. If you cancelled I'm assuming you would lose the credit.

Correct. As long as you reschedule to a different date/ship instead of cancel and rebook, your onboard booking credits remain intact.

The key is to maintain the same booking number. The OBC is linked to the booking number.

Thank you! :) We were just looking at taking the Solstice a little later in the winter. We have just booked a last minute cruise on the RCCL Liberty and leave this Saturday, so we thought we might stretch out the "in between" cruising to 6 months or more.

 

However, we were also playing with the idea of cancelling and finding a cruise that was less expensive...perhaps waiting and booking last minute again. The Solstice pricing is kind of high. Since we will be on the Liberty, we thought we might take advantage of the NextCruise or whatever the program is called :rolleyes: and put down $100 to secure a future reservation on either Celebrity or RCCL and receive the OBC incentive.

 

Can you tell me if that NextCruise deposit is refundable should we choose not to cruise with either line?
