Carnival Sensation, Bahamas. rough sea?

Hi, I'm a first time cruiser from the UK. I'm going to be a one of the dancers on the Carnival Sensation travelling round the Bahamas from Oct- Aug and have just started thinking about what it will actually be like when trying to dance on a rough sea!

Can anyone tell me what the conditions will be like at the end of the hurricane season? Will there still be big waves and smaller storms?

 

Also,if anyone has been on the Sensation are the shows good?
