superjerryw Posted April 4, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 4, 2004 The fridges don't really keep things that cold in case you have medicines that need refrigeration. <applet code="countdown.class" CODEBASE="http://*************/java-sys" width="203" height="25"> <param name="font" value="lcdb0"> <param name="year" value=2004> <param name="month" value=03> <param name="day" value=19> <param name="hour" value=17> </applet> Donuts, is there anything they can't do.... Brucemcdou Posted April 5, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 5, 2004 I think the mini-fridges in the cabins are really mini-bars like in hotel rooms, so they operate at wine temperature (55-60 degrees) not kitchen refrigerator temperature (40 degrees). So milk probably wouldn't keep for a week, but would certainly keep for a day or two if you're ordering cartons from room service, for instance. There are never enough days at sea! missbear Posted April 5, 2004 #6 Share Posted April 5, 2004 All cabins have the semi cold mini fridge but for... Cold Milk- go to the Ocean Grill (as it's called on Millie-check you're ship for your equivalent) they have dorm style milk dispensers that were accessible 24 hours per day and the milk was SOOOO COLD. Loved it. I want one of those things for my house now! We'd go up with many glasses and had cookies from home-Milk and Cookies! Life was good! superjerryw Posted April 5, 2004 #7 Share Posted April 5, 2004 I would be careful about keeping anything in the fridge that requires a certain temperature to stay fresh and will otherwise spoil such as milk. <applet code="countdown.class" CODEBASE="http://*************/java-sys" width="203" height="25"> <param name="font" value="lcdb0"> <param name="year" value=2004> <param name="month" value=03> <param name="day" value=19> <param name="hour" value=17> </applet> Donuts, is there anything they can't do....
