Greenapple Posted October 25, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 25, 2004 Hi..... I read on a few threads that there are time differences between what time it is on the ship and what time it is on shore. We will be on the NCL Sea on Jan 1/05 (visiting Cancun, Cozumel, Belize and Roatan). Which ports will have different times than the ship, and are they ahead or behind an hour?? Thanks ... Smooth Sailing Posted October 25, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 25, 2004 The NCL Sea will be on CST and Roatan is on EST or 1 hour ahead of the ship - the other ports are the same as the ship.
mlrdking Posted October 25, 2004 #3 Share Posted October 25, 2004 In Jan. all ports the Sea stops at will be in CST. During Daylight Savings Time, Roatan would be different if they don't observe DST. All the ports that the SEA stops at are in Central time Zone.
Greenapple Posted October 26, 2004 Author #4 Share Posted October 26, 2004 Whew.... it is good to know that all ports will be on the same time come January. As it is, our stop in Roatan is from 12:00 - 8:00..... (according to NCL's website) so a time change would've made it 1 pm to 9 pm.... not much time in the day to do anything. :)
