Taxi between FLL & Port Everglades

HI,

 

Would like to know the cost of taxi between FLL airport & Port Everglades?

 

I searched around here and knew that it is around $10-$12.

I have a couple of questions:

1. Do they charge extra for luggages?

2. What is the max no of passenger per taxi?

3. Is the cost ($10-$12) per person or per taxi?

It cost us under ten dollars and then we added some on for the tip.

That is for the taxi, not per person.

I am not sure if there is a limit on the luggage. If you have a lot, there are van taxi's that are at the airport and cruise port also.

In general taxis run between $10 and $15 dollars between FLL and Port Everglades. Here's a clip from the Broward County airport web-site:

Any certain taxi cabs that are better or how do you know which one to call from your hotel ?

They're all pretty much the same. Have the hotel recommend or even call a cab for you. Cab companies want repeat business from the hotels. If they give you bad service, let the hotel know. ;)

Can we get a van taxi we have 4 people and anywhere between 6 - 8 suitecases. Last year I don't remember seeing them at the airport.
