Taking ID off the ship

In Europe/Asia, etc. I would take my passport. What about swimming in the Carribean? I wear a waterproof neck strap with ship card and DL along with cash and a credit card. How do you handle a passport?

I use the same thing for my passport. I bought a Splash Caddy from Magellans and it works perfectly.

In addition to the copy of the passport page, and drivers license and of course the cruise card and a credit card I always take the Princess Patter for that day with me. In addition to avoiding coming back to find that you were wrong about the time the ship sailed, it contains the cruise agent name and phone number for that port. They are the people most likely to be able to help you in the tragic event you miss the ship.
