Set Sail Posted April 13, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 13, 2004 On October 7, 2004 Honolulu to Ensenada sailing of the Serenade and have some questions. 1. Past cruisers - were you able to start the boarding process around 11:00 AM? According to the itinerary the Serenade is disembarking at 7:00 AM the morning of the 7th. 2. Has anyone booked excursions through Tom Barefoot? Any recommended excusions would be appreciated. 3. On days at sea (to Ensenada) when does the temperature get too uncomfortable to stay on deck i.e., pool time? 4. On the 11 day cruise are there two formal nights and are they on sea days? Thanks a lot for your help.
abridalmaven Posted April 14, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 14, 2004 Since we were staying in Oahu we were not in a rush to get on the ship. We saw the lines outside and then just went for a long drive and came back in the afternoon and just breezed right on. The deck was cool, but we went in December, so it was windy as we approached Ensenada. We did the 10 day and the first fromal night was a port day, the second a sea day. lschrage Posted April 14, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 14, 2004 I haven't done a Hawaaian cruise, but did go to Hawaii for 2 weeks in December and stayed in Maui, Kauai, and Oahu, so if you have specific questions about Hawaii, I would be happy to help you out.
