KenMo Posted September 7, 2008 #1 Share Posted September 7, 2008 I noticed there are several questions about damage at Rum Point. Instead of posting this individually, I thought I'd just start a thread to make sure everyone sees it. I emailed Sharon Ebanks of Nativeway and here's her response: Hi Mona, Rum Point did sustain some damage in the hurricane. However, it was not destroyed. The dock only was badly damaged. In fact, we did get the opportunity to use Rum Point one day last week. The dock is expected to be repaired this upcoming week. We plan to bring our guests to Rum Point again, starting Monday, September 8. I would greatly appreciate it if you would correct the rumor. Thank you. mrsfuzzmo Posted September 9, 2008 #5 Share Posted September 9, 2008 Well, that doesn't look too bad! Good news for those traveling there in the near future (myself included) and for the people of Grand Cayman.
