Room Assignment, YIPPEE?????

Just looked on the Carnival site and I now have a room assignment for our Victory cruise to the Southern Caribbean on 11/16/08. We booked a guarantee 8A room and were assigned to a 8C catergory which is very nice. The only thing I am a bit concerned about is that the room is only four rooms down from the front of the ship. Has anyone ever had a room so close to the front and if so what was your experience with movement? I like the idea that it is away from the public areas so it should be very peaceful. I did book a guarantee so cannot complain where I land on the ship, just curious what to expect. I am going to have a good time no matter where I am on the ship just want to be prepared.

On our crown princess cruise we were all the way in the front at the very top of the ship, I too was very concerned but no problems at all to my surprise. Enjoy your cruise.

Another one getting their assignment out of turn. :p

The islands on the SC itinerary are really close together so the ship almost drifts from island to island. Movement isn't much of a factor at all.
