Silver moon booked

Tiami is definitely another option. Not the same as the Silver Moon as the Cats are large and really full of people. Not always a bad thing as they are a lot of fun, just a lot more crowded.

We have sailed on both, Tiami once and Silver Moon twice with the third time coming up quickly.

Sorry to hear the Silver Moon is already booked up, it is one of the best excursions we have ever been on in our lives. Hopefully your next trip to Barbados you will be able to see for yourself.

toto, silver moon sounds very interesting to us. From your experience do they only book up to 24 people for each day tour? as that would be great. We don't like the big crowds. Are there a couple of their boats that travel together? It's 4 of us so we just want a smaller group.

Thanks,

Cheryl

They have two different tours on two different catamarans. One holds a maximum of 12 passengers, and they don't put more than 12 onboard. The other Cat holds more and has a different design, it can hold up to 24. But the time we sailed on the one that held 24, there were maybe only 12-15 of us onboard so plenty of room. They don't go out together, and I am not sure they even have both tours on the same day. Personally, we prefer the smaller of the two and have really enjoyed the tiny group of 12 or less even more than the larger one.

The best idea is to go to their website and ask for information with their email form. They will send you everything you will need and also let you know if there is space available for the day you will be visiting Barbados. They do book up quickly, and we have found that the sooner you contact them, the better chance you have of securing this tour.

They do require a 50% deposit on this tour with the balance paid the day of the tour, and I can understand why with such small groups. They send you a booking form, and you fax it back, until they receive this, they do not hold space on the tour for you. In other words, don't waste any time if you think you are interested.

But so far we have had great luck with them if our ship arrives late. They gave us the option once upon a late arrival of a full refund, or they would pay for a cab to take us down the coast and meet the tour already in progress.

Here is the link to their website, they can fill you in on all the particulars when you email them. http://www.oceanadventures.bb/oai/contact.php

toto, thanks for your quick reply. We actually would prefer the smaller group and will definitely go ahead and send them an e mail. I normally have my plans for an excursion way in advance, but this cruise just happened upon us unexpectedly and we are now just hoping to get what we want. Thanks for the link.
