Shore Tour question re booking a time.

I asked this question under the 'Tree to Tree' Noumea post, but thought I should start my own thread.

 

I'm going to book the tree to tree tour which has 3 timeslots available 9am, 11am & 1pm

 

Does anybody know, if I book the 9am and it's sold out, does P&O automatically book you into the next available time or do you just miss out altogether if your requested tour time is full.

 

If this is the case, should we write somewhere on the booking form, that if our preferred time is not avail anytime will do.

 

Looking forward to any info as we did not do any P&O organised shore tours on our previous cruise.
