jenejay Posted October 27, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 27, 2004 Thanks for the info! I couldn't believe my eyes! I even called Carnival to confirm. There is a member of my party who was really upset we were missing out on Grand Cayman.
cruisinqt Posted October 27, 2004 #3 Share Posted October 27, 2004 I'm so glad to hear that your TA confirms a stop in GC. :) I was just in the ports of call section here on the boards reading up about GC. Cmez stated the same thing you have. He said that his TA called him too and said that the Conquest was scheduled to stop in GC on his Oct. 31st sailing. With more than one person having their TA's call them and tell them that GC was back on the itinerary for the Conquest's Oct. 31st sailing, I feel confident that it will happen. I too, am sailing on the Conquest on Oct. 31st, so this is great news for me.:D My only problem is that my husband has just informed me that we will leave early for our cruise and stay overnight in the Shreveport/Bossier City area in Louisiana. We've never stayed there and I hear that some areas are quite bad. Does anyone know where the nice, newer area of town is? We don't want anything pricey, we just want a cheap hotel in a nice area of town where we will feel safe. Any suggestions?

I will also be on 10/31 Conquest. http://www.tripadvisor.com/Tourism-g40424-Shreveport_Louisiana-Vacations.html
