Change in Alcohol laws

Posted due to a request.

Due to law changes, and I don't know why, none of the catamarans are allowed to serve alcohol while on the ocean. Open bar at the beach only. We were a bit dissapointed but it was still a nice trip.

Just don't expect a margarita or anything else while on the catamaran.

Have as good a time as we did.

Thanks for the new thread. I know you said it was all catamarans but which service did you use? We booked Puesta de Sol. And of course a big selling point for them was the neat catamaran with the open bar. I can imagine your disappointment. As free flowing as alcohol is in the tourist areas, this seems like a dramatic law change. Thanks again. Glad you still had a good time.
