Has anyone stayed recently at the Napoli Belmar Hotel in Fort Lauderdale?

 

Are there any restaurants, wine stores, pharmacy... close by?

From the map it looks like you can pick up the "Sun Trolley" for 50 cents and ride into 17th street. It stops right in front of a Publix market with a wine and liquor store right next to it.

RJ Gators Bristo is in the same center, see below.

The Sun Trolley has a day pass $3.25, just wave and the driver will pick up up.

Ron, the shopping center your referring is the Harbor Center, The Sun Trolley has a stop there.

The Sun Trolley charges $1.25 per ride or $3.25 for a day pass.

You can walk to restaurants a few blocks away. The closest is probably Thai on the Beach, which is a block south of Sunrise Blvd. A CVS drug store is being opened soon about 6 blocks away at Beach Place. They sell wine.

 

This "resort hotel" looks more like a 1 star motel. I read that the newly renovated Bahia Mar is offering great rates.
