yoyocruiser Posted September 12, 2008 #1 Share Posted September 12, 2008 What is the process to order a bar set up? I know I have read this here before but it gets confusing. I am will be booking through a TA today for the dream to Bermuda on September 28th. Somewhere I read you write to a Ship Coordinator--however I have also read that when you book wih a TA the TA will do everything. As I also know that sometimes the TAs don't seem to know all the ins and outs (as most of you do here!!:) ) Also the approximate cost for say a gin and tonic set up--and does it include the tonic or do I bring that on? I thought I would check here first. I know the TA would book the Romance package--right? Thanks so much!

yoyocruiser Posted September 12, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted September 12, 2008 Thanks Luv2Cruz! We are going to be in a balcony for the first time and that's why I thought it might be nice to have something in the room--generally we just go to the bar but running up and down for a drink doesn't sound that relaxing, and I want to take full advantage of the balcony, this may be a once in a lifetime. I still can't figure out if they provide the tonic/cokes, but I guess I will just carry some on. It is my sense that it is okay to take non-alcoholic drinks and water? Thanks so much for the information!
*Wink* Posted September 12, 2008 #4 Share Posted September 12, 2008 Take your own mixers. Make sure you email soon. They require 2 week advance notice. I use a TA too, but I handle my bar setup. Email groupeventdream@ncl.com. I've never ordered the romance package, although I'm going to for our next cruise. I'd assume you'd use your TA for that. :)
