Do hump cabins obstruct view from regular balcony cabins?

I am near but not on the "hump". Looks like the hump cabins might obstruct the forward or aft view on nearby non-hump balconies. Do they?

Here is a photo from our Explorer cruise looking back towards the hump.

 

 

On our Radiance class ship sailings we've had balcony's on the hump, so I really don't have a good picture to show you. The Radiance class hump in more pronounced and would be a little more dramatic as far as blocking any view.

I've been in both hump and near-the-hump cabins, and I don't think they will block much for you. There's a lot of "view" to be had!!

I hope I upoad this correctly.. This is Radiance - I took this from our hump cabin balcony - 8th deck. You can see the hump would block some cabin's views past it, but I don't think would be all that bad.

I would think the further away from the hump the better view you might have forward or aft. On our upcoming cruise, we have a hump cabin, but it's on the backside of the hump.

 

Here's a pic taken from our center hump balcony on the Mariner last year, looking directly aft. See how you really can't see the cabins directly behind the hump? I think your view might be somewhat impeeded looking forward or aft, the closer your cabin is to the hump (yet not on it). But the views outward are the same for everyone. LOL.

Not "sweating it", just curious. I usually look out at the big blue sea, unless heading into or out of a port.

We've sailed in both types of cabins on the Voyager class ships and never felt like we had an obstructed view in a regular balcony cabin.
