fee&j Posted September 14, 2008 #1 Share Posted September 14, 2008 We are sailing for the first time on Carnival, do they have a similar program to Princess where you give them 100.00 for a future cruise and that becomes your deposit when you actually book and also gives you on board credits. Thanks for your help. Fiona

13point1 Posted September 14, 2008 #4 Share Posted September 14, 2008 No, they don't have a Future Cruise Consultant desk on board.David Actually several ships do. They are slowly testing the program on a handful of ships. You can either book a cruise or get future credit.
UnclePatNTampa Posted September 14, 2008 #5 Share Posted September 14, 2008 Can't speak for other ships but, the Legend offered such a deal last Sept. You have to make your deposit prior to a specific day and time. They were very strict about the deadline. We missed by 10 minutes and it was a "no deal". They offered deposits of $100 and $100 OBC with 1 year to actually book the cruise. We are on the Imagination next Thursday and will NOT miss the deadline if the program is offered again. Sure hope so!
dbrucern Posted September 14, 2008 #6 Share Posted September 14, 2008 Actually we bought them on the Liberty in June and Legend in Nov 07. $100 that goes to your deposit and an OBC depending on the length of the cruise. The one we bought on the Legend was only good for 18months hence our Splendor cruise in May. The one we bought on the Liberty is good for 5 years. vacruizer Posted September 14, 2008 #10 Share Posted September 14, 2008 We bought one on the Liberty in July. $100 for the certificate which goes towards any cruise in the next five years. Then you get up to $200 OBC in addition depending on the length of the cruise. It's $100 OBC for a 7 or 8 day.
