I personally have not done this one, but good friends have done it several times and love the itinerary. They especially liked Nova Scotia, and Maine. I did however just come off of the spirit several weeks ago and the staff and ship were both great. The captain is a very interesting gentleman, and the concierge Humberto will do just about anything to make sure your cruise is special. The wait staff, bar waiters, and room stewards all were pleasant, efficient, and most went out of their way to please you..

We just got back on Saturday and had a great time. The ship was fine, don't pay attention to the negative reviews. The crew was excellent. We lucked out with great weather. We had a balcony on deck 10. The ship is older and shows some signs of wear but it's not bad at all. Peter Sasso the comedian on board was funny. The new White Hot party was fun. The food was very good in Cagneys and above average most of the time. This was our 10th cruise so we have had other cruises to compare it to. Canada was great, It was fun to get back to Boston also. Martha's Vineyard was ok. So don't worry we had a lot of fun. We are in our mid 40's, looked like 75% of the passangers were over 55.

Thanks. We are also in our 40's. I kind of figured it would be an older demographic. It was my husbands idea so I didn't make a fuss. I'm sure we'll have fun.

We've cruised Canada/New England several times. Weather was great for every September, early October cruise. Late October was cold.

We haven't been on the Spirit but have heard great things about it.

 

The ports are lovely.

Is it easy to grab a cab or something just to get to a scenic walk along the famous landscape? Really don't want to book an excursion that day. Leaving on the Spirit this Sunday:D
