CruzzBee Posted September 15, 2008 #1 Share Posted September 15, 2008 Hi everyone. This is my first posting here. Thanks for all the valuable info. Great help in my cruise prep. I hope you guys can help me with this one... I'll be on Dawn for 13-nts Repo Cruise 11/2/08. Is there still a laundry on deck 10? Or only the $20 bag? Really not sure how to pack for a 2 week cruise. Thanks.

Thanks. First you should join our roll call, we have quite a large group on this cruise. Secondly they stopped doing the bagged laundry special, but have washers, dryers, and irons on atleast decks 5,9,11..
*Luv2Cruz* Posted September 15, 2008 #3 Share Posted September 15, 2008 For deck 10 it's between the midship elevators and room 10105, across from rooms 10120 and 10118.;)

KarmaElectra Posted September 16, 2008 #6 Share Posted September 16, 2008 Washers and dryers are free, but they charge for powdered detergent. I don't like powder anyway, so I brought one of those free-sample pouches that you can sometimes request on internet sites. That worked quite well! :)

32807 Posted September 17, 2008 #8 Share Posted September 17, 2008 If you want to use something excellent for traveling and self-service washers, there's a detergent/softener/static control infused sheet that works fabulous. I have purchased them in a military exchange, but they can be found online at www.washeze.com You'll be blown away! Any insight as to self service washer/dryer on the NCL Sun? Will be doing the South America cruise January 2009. Used magnifying glass, don't see any facilities. Darn. Happy cruising, y'all!
OldBaldGuy Posted September 17, 2008 #9 Share Posted September 17, 2008 Man, I wish I had known about that WashEZE stuff sooner! We leave on Sun, no way I can order and receive some before then...

That worked quite well! :) We smuggle liquid detergent onboard in empty wine bottles. We simply pay the corkage fee and they never know the difference! :D

Went to the washeze site and it lists CampingWorld as a retailer. Do you have one of those stores near you? http://www.campingworld.com/
