Miami port how early can we get on board

We set sail on Sunday 21on Carnival Valor, Carnival's website says the earlist you can get on board is 1:30pm this seems late, we have sailed out of Miami the last 12times we have sailed and we have always been able to board at 12:00pm. Thanks for all the help! I love this website!!! :D :rolleyes:

I try to get to the port around 10:30AM. I;m for the most part on the ship by 11:30AM

We were on the Triumph by 11:45 or so at christmas....

Most people arrive around 10:30am and wait a while but I have found that 11am seems to be the best time for all types of passengers whether you are VIP or not. They usually start allowing boarding around 11:30am.

We generally get to the port between 9:30 and 10:00 with check in shortly thereafter. On board between 11:00 and 11:15 last 2 times.

We usually arrive around 11am. It has always been easy check in but have never been on board before noon. Cruise #14 with carnival in November.
