bumbles Posted September 17, 2008 #1 Share Posted September 17, 2008 My family is scheduled on our first Carnival cruise in February 2009. With the fantastic cruise pricing in the next few months, I'm seriously considering booking another Carnival trip in November or December of this year for me and DH. Since I've already booked and deposited our February cruise without any discount, would I be able to apply a past cruiser discount to that booking if we do decide to cruise in Nov/Dec 2008? FYI...I booked this on my own through Carnival's website - no PVP, no TA. Thanks for any advice!

dlbutler5 Posted September 17, 2008 #4 Share Posted September 17, 2008 It's possible, you would have to call and ask. It should work like a price drop.
Ken076 Posted September 17, 2008 #5 Share Posted September 17, 2008 You don't "achieve" Past Guest status or get a Past Guest number until you Complete that first cruise. So...be flexible on dates/itineraries in the November cruise you book so as to catch any specials and/or upgrade offers (check the Military Rates if applicable, the 55+ rates if applicable or the Residency rates for your state). A few weeks after your return, start checking the Past Guest Rates for the 2009 cruise and if any appear, call Carnival and ask if they'll apply them to youer 2009 booking - odds are good that they will. ken
