Carnival Glory Excursions

ATV with cave-tubing dot com was about 45 minutes in length, through the rain forest. Each person gets their own ATV.

They had trails that you had to manoeuvre through. It was quite wet when we were there and a few people would get stuck in the mud if they didn’t go through fast enough. The guides would help push/drive you out. Overall, it was a fairly slow pace. They had about 20 ATV travelling together in a line, and you could not pass them. I thought it was well worth the money. We were a party of 6 (13, 17, 18, 21 and 50ish parents) and everyone enjoyed it. But we did miss out on the rope and rock jumping free time at the caves. Not sure how important that is to you.

We really enjoyed it, and would likely do exactly the same thing again in a heartbeat!

It seems like a lot of our stops have zip lining excursions. Has anyone done this? If so where and through what company? Was it worth the money? Also, how scary is it? My DH really wants to do this but I'm a little apprehensive. The last time I went parasailing I was scared to death.

Hi Stephanie. I think our roll call group has taken over this thread.

We did a zipline in Costa Rica a couple of years ago. Like you two, I was excited about doing it but DW was not so sure. Where we went, they had a couple of practice runs of only about 30 ft. to get the feel of it. Then they sent us off on the long run across the canyon. When I took that first step off the platform, I thought "OMG what have I done?". But it was a blast. For DW, she almost backed out, but the guide took her across the first one in tandem. She loved it and went on her own the rest of the way. We would both do it again.

We have a good story about our zipline adventure. Remind me onboard and I'll tell you about it.

Just got back on 9-13 and we had a great time. In Cozumel and Freeport we rented a scooter and went where we wanted. They went about 40 mph and cost $25 in Cozumel and $35 in Freeport. In Cozumel I looked it up online and if you brought the ad it was the online price which was significantly lower and was good for the day. My wife and I found a place to snorkel and just scooted around. In Freeport we took a group taxi to Port Lucaya and rented one there for a couple hours, took a long ride along the coast and ended up in no mans land by some caves, we were pushed for time so we didn't stop but we had a blast just riding 2 on a scooter. Back in Lucaya we stopped at the casino, had a complementary drink while we fed quarters to the one armed bandit. In Hondurus we rented a taxi for the day from Diana and Shirley and for $50 a couple we went snorkeling and stopped at a beach where Beer was $2 and coke $1. The driver spoke english and was giving small bits of info as we drove. In Belize we were quite tired and have been there several time so we slept in and just briefly visited the dock area, but we have had a great tme doing the cave tubing in the past.

Have a great time and if you like popular tunes make sure you see Summer Breeze in the lobby bar.

Do you have a picture(s) of this area? I have seen so many different ports on CC in the last few months and I am trying to get a feel for which one Belieze was. Thanks!
