Lobster Alive Beach

Recommended Posts

Lobster Alive is a beach front restaurant located just east of the Boatyard (I hope my directions are correct). Both of those places are located on Carlisle Bay, which has a wide beach and great place to swim.. usually calm waters.. if the restuarant doesn't have chairs to rent, there is certainly someone in the area that would. There wouldn't be any beach facilities (meaning bathroom etc), unless, I guess, if you used the restaurant for food and drink.

just a short ways further east, there is a public beach facility with changed rooms etc..

Not sure of the taxi cost.

Does Lobster beach have chairs and umbrellas for rent?

How much for a taxi from pier?

Sandy beach?

Thank for any info!!!

Lobster Alive was great, we were there in May. The beach is the same as the BoatYard, and yes they do rent chairs and umbrellas and the prices are less then the BoatYard and includes some drinks as well. We shared a cab and I don't remember the cost but it was cheap as it's close to the port. Enjoy!
