Spirit Class 7A Cabin Question

We are considering a 7A (obstructed view balcony) cabin on the Spirit. I've read the forward 3 lifeboats are higher than the rest, so we would not pick a cabin there. My understanding is the other lifeboats only come up to the deck level of the balcony. My question is, would the view from the balcony (looking out, not looking down) be better with a cabin between lifeboats or with the lifeboat centered on the cabin?

The top of the lifeboats come up beyond the floor of the balcony. If you are sitting down in the chair, your vision will be obstructed by the lifeboat. If you stand up, you will be able to see over the lifeboat, but not straight down. You would probably be better to try and pick a cabin between the lifeboats.

The cat. 7A cabins (Spirit Class), are a good alternative if you want to have some outdoor space, are not picky about your view and want to save some money.

Is this for the foward three lifeboats which are taller or all the lifeboats?

Love the 7A cabins! We got one via the upgrade fairy (thank you whereever you are!) on the Miracle, cabin 5231. Really great cabin! Looking straight out, the only thing I saw was a cable and a little blue hanging bag thing that must have had extra cable in it or something. I would not pick a cabin that was at the end of a lifeboat, because you will have the wench/pulley systems there to block the view.

This next cruise, we have the inside/balcony 2 room combo that is forward, because we are taking my MIL and my son also. If we had needed just 1 room, I would have booked 7A again!
