Just received the December issue of Cruise Travel. The "Ship of the Month" is the Lirica. The "Port of the Month" is San Juan for those of you who may be doing that route.

 

I'll be interested to hear what you all think of the article! Have to go check out the rest of the magazine...

Just got my copy today (been looking forward to it ever since you posted)-

 

Hopefully the new management will have the problems ironed out by the time we sail-

 

Good article - was kinda surprised that there is no alternate dining like on the other lines-

 

Oh well - I can live with it (he-he)-

 

REALLY looking forward to the cruise now-

 

Not too late to make your reservations - again this IS a big band cruise too-

Unfortunately I am not a subscriber to this magazine - are you saying that they say in this article that there are some problems on Lirica which need ironing out?

 

Maybe you could just let us know more or less what is in the article, without infringing any copyright.

The only negatives that I noted in the article were regarding the food. The writer complained of overcooked veggies and fish, bread that wasn't fresh and boring desserts. The cabins seem to be a bit small but the writer reports that storage space is plentiful. Everything else sounds great. :)

There is also a review in the latest Porthole Magazine about the Lirica and this one is pretty well all positive.
