I found the free steak in the MDR

Hi,

 

I have just returned from the Freedom of the Seas and am happy to report that I found the free steak (the steak that used to be offered as an alternate choice to the daily menu items). I just ordered steak for my nephews (ages 3 & 4) one day and I received the same steak that used to be offered for free. I never received a kids menu so I do not know if it is even listed on the kids menu, I just ordered steak and that is what I received.

 

Hope this info helps those looking for the free steak.

I actually did not eat it, my nephews ate the steak covered with loads of ketchup so your guess is as good as mine

Our son did the same thing on our first cruise. He was 12 and just wanted steak, smothered in Ketchup. Or maybe it was steak sauce...same thing anyway. And at that time I think it was still the infamous 'ranch' steak'. :eek::eek:

There was Steak on the Kids Menu on our Liberty Cruise this August but it is not the same steak they used to serve for free. It is about 6 oz and very thin. My DS was very disappointed with it.
