NCL Spirit - Any embarkation tips?

I wanted to get tips from those of you who may have traveled on the Spirit recently. I have a little one and would like to avoid being in a long line if possible. I wasn't sure if it were better to be there early or wait until later.

Get there 10:30/11:00 ish........

 

We've been through Pier 88 in NYC twice now this year; June and September. Both times moved along smooth as pie (except a minor delay at check-in this last time, but that doesn't concern your situation).

 

Then you can have a seat for a bit and have some refreshments. If the little one gets restless, there's plenty of room to walk around or gaze at that big ship you're going on.

We were there in NYC on the 14th. Our bus dropped us off at 11:57. At 12:17 we were in line for lunch..waiting for the restaurant to open at 12:30. Best/fastest embarkation we've ever had.
