Pikkewyn Posted September 26, 2008 #1 Share Posted September 26, 2008 We have just returned from a 12 night Med cruise on QV and were unable to use our balcony due to the chain smoker next door. This completely ruined the experience of our large corner balcony on Deck 7. The problem is that Cunard allows smoking on balconies so there is not much one can do. Or is there something we can do? Has anyone taken this matter up with Cunard, or had the same problem? I want to book our next cruise and understand that Crystal doesnt permit smoking in the staterooms or on the balconies. Is this correct?

Why didn't you talk to our neighbor and tell him that the smoke from his cigarette is bothering you and your family and if he could ask him to refrain from smoking when you are on the balcony. Most smokers want to be considerate and perhaps he did not understand that his smoke was bothering you.
