Lany Posted September 27, 2008 #1 Share Posted September 27, 2008 Hoping someone can help with this... I am trying to book an appointment while in Puerto Vallarta in November. Can someone pleae tell me what the difference will be between ship time and local time while in PV? In other words, if it's noon according to ship time, what is the local time in PV? 1:00? Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance. PV is 2 hours ahead of Pacific Time. However, on all the MR cruises I have been on, they have made us move our clocks forward. On 2 cruises we only moved them forward one hour, making Cabo and Mazatlan equal to ship time, but PV an hour ahead. On one cruise, we moved our clocks forward on 2 separate nights, meaning we were on PV time while there. However, it all depends on what the captain does. Remember that PV is 2 hours ahead of LA time, and factor in how many times you have to move your clock forward.;)
