Satellite TV Lineup in Bars/Staterooms

Can some one tell me what the satellite lineup might be on the Gem. I happen to be traveling this Janaury with a major NFL fan!:eek:

Not sure what the hook-up is...but...we've never missed a football game while on-board.

Perhaps, not in your stateroom - check out the bars and casino;)

I think the channel lineup may depend on what part of the world your cruise ship is in.

 

The lineup will be the same in the ship's bars as it is in the staterooms.

 

They don't filter the transmissions onboard the ship.

Thanks! We'll be just floating off the coast of NYC, so hopefully we'll get ESPN and some local line ups like FOX. Totally didn't realise it was Wild Card weekend when I booked this CTNW. :eek:

we were very dissappointed that we did not receive espn for monday night football at sea. We were told that it would be available and we were only sailing the NE coast on the spirit. People had game shirts and were prepared for an enjoyable evening. But only old loops from espn were being played over and over again. It was insulting that the crew just kept saying that "yes, we have espn" when, in fact they did not. NCL needs to hire more people with communicative skills. I understand that all people who work hard deserve jobs...BUT there has to be SOMEBODY who speaks the language well enough to go outside the "script". Especially when a boat embarking at an American pier.

The Ships only have Fox network so if the game is on fox then you will get to watch the only other time that any other sports event will be aired if not on fox if it is like the world series, superbowl, basketball playoffs stuff like that;)

they have ESPN---But apparently not all the time. They played old loops alot which was pretty annoying. The Princess ship-who was sailing along w/us had the game-Don't understand why our signal was lost
