Parking FLL, tell me all you know

Some more info:

The covered parking is really across from where you sign in for Princess cruises(near 17th St.) and HAL(more east near the intracoastal). Celebrity doesn't have its own parking lot attached to its pier. As the above thread said, there, I am sure, are shuttles. Just leave off your bags first with the porter and they will show you where to go.

The shuttle runs all the time. My hubby drops me off along with our luggage and as soon as the porter takes it away he goes off to park. He has always been back in ten minutes or so. We do the same when we disembark. After we claim our luggage off he goes. There has never been a delay. The biggest problem is when he approaches the pickup area fighting the crowds for a space to pull in.

There is a better deal on parking. Its call Park 'N Fly in Fort Lauderdale. Free shuttle service from the lot to the pier every 30 minutes. Complimentary luggage assistance ( I highly recomment tipping the bus driver). It is a secure, well-lit lot with vehicle assistance in case of a dead battery or flat tire. Its about a 5 minute ride.

I live here so I do know alittle about Ft Lauderdale area.

I did some checking into Park 'N Fly and came up with the following

info. They charge $7.50 per day and have a shuttle that goes to the

pier every 30 minutes. I would think that $52.50 seems a lot easier

to take than $84.00 for the week. If anyone is interested go to

http://www.parknfly.com, click on locations & rates and you can get all the

info you may need. Sounds like a good deal to me.:D

We checked Hilton and Hampton Inn in FLL and both offered $6 per day parking during the week. This was in conjunction with us staying 1 night prior to cruise. Might be worth checking if they offer similar rate if you don't do lodging. Good Luck.
