Hair dryers

Going on Sapphire in a few days,do they have hair dryers or should I bring my own.We don't need adapters do we,for my curling iron.

BTW - what there aren't a lot of is electrical outlets! Some people bring a power strip with them.

I don't know if it was the water, shampoo or wattage of the hair dryer, but it seemed to take forever to dry my hair. I would be the first one in the shower, get the kids ready, do my make up and then finish drying my hair and it always seemed damp when we walked out the door. I'm taking my own next cruise.

Hair dryers aren't the greatest.

I only use the one on board since I do not want to carry extra weight in my luggage.

I always bring my hair dryer. The ones on the cruise ships are whimpy.:eek:

The humidity makes it harder to dry your hair. I have thick curley hair.

The hair dryers in the room are the usual type offered in hotels. They are small without alot of power. If you have shorter hair, they should be fine. If you have thick or long hair, you may want to consider bringing your own.

 

If your appliance work on standard US current and plug, you won't need an adapter.

Lots of threads here and over on the cruise & beauty board regarding the hairdryers. I have short hair but still bring my own. Recently purchased a Babyliss travel dryer which works great. You don't need an adaptar. Here is one of the links:
