Does the Splendour have Internet Access?

I'm currently planning a January cruise on the Splendour of the Seas in January with my Mom. Does the Splendour have in-cabin internet if we bring a laptop? If not, do they have internet access on the ship somewhere? I want to be able to e-mail my DH while we're gone.

There is no in-room Internet on the Splendour, as on any of the other Vision-class ships.

There is an internet cafe onboard you can use to send emails.

It´s $0.50 / minute.

It is slow, but it works in a pinch, and if you are C&A member you get 10 minutes for free at the Gold level, which isn't that bad of a deal...

I could never get a connection out on the Splendour as there was a problem with people with AOL as their server. One of the M & M cruisers on our cruise had an AOL address but switched to Yahoo or Hotmail to post. I never could check my emails while on board, and I have an AOL address. I just checked my messages when I got to a port that had an internet cafe.
